Dog Greeting Cards - Do I Have to Send a Card to the Dog?

My sister has a poodle terrier mix named Oscar. Oscar has been in our lives for 13 years. When I say Beta Blockers our lives," I mean he is given all the special treatment as a member of the family. You see, my big sister never married and doesn't have any children. She's a very beautiful, independent woman who is absolutely crazy about Yeti dog. Other members of the family roll their eyes when she brings a discussion around to Oscar and his latest antics. I don't. I know how much that Krofft Supershow means to her.

Whenever she's down, Oscar is always there to comfort her. Whenever she needs someone to talk to, Oscar listens. He may not really understand what she's saying, but he always manages to look like he does. That's why Oscar wants for nothing. He has his collection of special toys impotence treatment Tarzan for him. He gets a plate at her Thanksgiving table, days at the doggy spa for a haircut and manicure, and even has a winter jacket when the temperature drops below 40. Is it any wonder then that Oscar's name appears prominently on all of her Christmas and birthday cards? Yup, she signs his name to the greeting cards that she gives. And she also expects that cards given to her have him included.

Now there are greeting cards available for the dog lover in one's life. After all, doesn't everyone know someone like my sister who regards his or her pet as a family member?

Alternative greeting card companies have risen to the demand. They offer cards not just about dogs for dog lovers, but have taken note of the idiosyncrasy of each breed. Don't lab retrievers just adore the water? And aren't shih-tzus known as the "lion dog"? This ain't simple cute, general doggy behavior. This is about the special breed of dog. The one thing you can do to make this dog lover smile is to acknowledge their pet and ask how they're doing once in a while. Nothing will give the pet lover more pleasure than having a chance to talk about their little darling. Recognize the fact that their pet has as much value and meaning in their lives as your kids do to you. Send along a greeting card that shows you understand their love. And while you're at it, find out the dog's birthday and send him a card as well.
